Bio
Brooklyn born DJ, producer, rapper and songwriter based in London Born May 21st in Brooklyn, New York, DJ Creole Princess (AKA Sun Saja) is a genre bending force— fostering an interdisciplinary practice of spinning sounds, making beats, and writing rhymes. Drawing inspiration from her colorful and culturally rich upbringing, Creole Princess began DJ-ing professionally at aged 17. What began as a passion for making playlists blossomed into a humble but consistent career hosting local radio shows, residencies, and eventually her very own creative collective called The Rose Room —where she worked to facilitate monthly guest playlists, live music events, and a Web series showcasing the creative process of different artists over the course of the lockdown. Her journey into the world of production was a gradual transition from the decks onto the DAW, where she would unload mixes as well as her own music onto SoundCloud. It was here that the birth of #KissCore emerged, her very own creative concept that implements a long lasting fascination with the romantic.
