DJ Lady Erica (Dr Erica Myers‑Davis) is a pioneering UK-born, Melbourne-based DJ of Jamaican heritage. Starting her career on UK pirate radio in the early 1990s, she became one of Australia’s first prominent figures in UK garage, grime, and bass music. She ran influential Melbourne club nights, hosted the radio show Underground Flavas on 3RRR, and founded Show Pony Music to distribute underground music locally. Known for her high-energy vinyl sets spanning garage, grime, dubstep, jungle, reggae, and disco, Lady Erica has been instrumental in shaping Melbourne’s bass-driven underground scene and remains a leading female figure in the genre.
