Bio
Noelson Teixeira, known as Mandas, is a Dj/producer. He was born in Guinea-Bissau, spent his adulthood in Brazil, worked nearly 6 years in Asia & currently based in Portugal. Mandas started his career as a DJ in Rio de Janeiro. Rio certainly influenced his style & energy a lot and, till now, he carries this passion and fire in him when on stage. In 2013 he was invited to Asia, where he continued his career in DJing and producing. He was a resident Dj in Playhouse club - the biggest club in Asia, that was top 13 in DJ Mag. He performed all over China becoming on of the most popular Djs over there. Mandas also has an opportunity to share the stages with DJs such as Tiesto, Diego Miranda, AfroJack, Diplo, Kshmr, Alok and many more. Even though Mandas was playing a lot of EDM, he always had a tendency to mix it up. His sets were known not just for technique, but also for the ability of bringing hiphop, afro and EDM together. He also kept producing afrohouse & afropop through the years. His music “Energy” featuring Fatman Scoop blowed everyone’s mind. In 2022 Mandas moved to Lisbon, Portugal & got noticed immediately. Despite of living in Asia for sometime, he never lost connection to his country. His recent shows in Guinea-Bissau were a sold out & Europe parties that he performs at are always packed. He has a solid fan base throughout Africa & Europe. Mandas is truly one of a kind.
