Bio
Dream On Dreamer is an Australian metalcore band from Melbourne, Victoria, formed in 2009. The band quickly rose within the heavy music scene through a mix of melodic intensity and aggressive post-hardcore elements, gaining early attention with their EPs Set Sail, Armada (2009) and Hope (2010). Their debut album Heartbound (2011) marked a breakthrough, charting in Australia and earning a nomination for Best Hard Rock/Heavy Metal Album at the ARIA Awards. Known for blending metalcore with melody, electronics, and emotional lyricism, Dream On Dreamer developed a distinctive sound that balances heavy breakdowns with atmospheric and melodic passages. Over the years, they released multiple albums including Loveless (2013) and Songs of Soulitude (2015), while touring internationally across North America, Europe, Japan, and Australia, sharing stages with acts like Pierce the Veil and A Day to Remember. Although the band announced a split in 2020, they later indicated a return in a more limited capacity, continuing their legacy within Australia’s heavy music scene.
