Dro Carey is the main project of Sydney-based producer and DJ Eugene Ward, known for blending underground electronic styles with influences from UK bass music and experimental club sounds. Born in Perth, Western Australia, Ward emerged in the early 2010s with releases such as *Venus Knock* on The Trilogy Tapes, gaining recognition from international DJs and publications for his genre-bending productions. His music draws from a wide range of influences—from techno and house to grime, rap, and juke—creating a distinctive and unconventional club sound. Over the years he has released music on labels including Greco-Roman, Templar Sound, and Soothsayer, and has collaborated with artists such as UK grime MC Trim. His debut album *Nothing Is A Solo Project* was released in 2020, further showcasing his eclectic and collaborative approach to electronic music.
