Music curator // DJ // Record collector Founder at Black Gravity Records, Antwerp For well over a decade, DTM Funk has stood at the forefront of Antwerp’s and Belgium’s music scene. Long before becoming one of the country’s most respected DJs, he was already shaping and nurturing the culture of our beloved nocturnal habitat. With a strong dedication to local talent and a global outlook that rises above fleeting trends and hypes, he has continuously created safer spaces for auditive discoveries of a different kind. Through Black Gravity, DTM Funk explores and recontextualizes the knowledge, history, and future of Black club music. What started as a club concept evolved into a multidisciplinary platform encompassing club nights, film screenings, performances and recently he opened a listening room and record store under the name Black Gravity Records. As a longtime collaborator and fixture at Horst Festival, DTM Funk has firmly established himself as one of Belgium’s most versatile and in-demand DJs. His sets are driven by soul, groove, and rhythm rather than genre limitations, allowing him to move seamlessly between percussion-driven groovers, jazz-funk and soul records, raw and sensual house gems, and unexpected left turns from across the musical spectrum. Whether guiding an early afternoon festival crowd or closing down a dark, sweat-soaked club night, DTM Funk brings people together through movement, connection, and deep musical storytelling — always keeping the dancefloor alive.
