Bio
Fliss Mayo & Zebb Dempster are Dual Monitor, a London & Liverpool based duo. Their boundary pushing productions have earned them the moniker ‘The UK Genre Alchemists’ from Rinse FM. This open format approach to music also translates into their vibrant, kaleidoscopic DJ sets with no two the same, the duo deftly thread twisted low slung UK Bass, skitter step IDM, ass shaking tech-bow and zoned out dub and jungle. After kicking off their career with Boiler Room Liverpool in 2023, the past two years have seen Dual Monitor evolve into a fully realised touring act, performing everywhere from; supporting Two Shell at Corsica Studios, Ross From Friends at the Junction, back to backs with Hodge at Love Saves The Day and Chloe Robinson and DJ ADHD at Meraki, opening for Objekt and Call Super, Glastonbury Festival, Project Six Festival, Warped Festival and Queens Yard Summer Party as well as radio appearances and live streams on NTS and Rinse FM. Dual Monitor’s discography has been supported across the board from heavyweights including; Ben UFO, Darwin, Bicep, Roza Terenzi, Hodge, Pangaea, Conducta, Interplanetary Criminal, Surusinghe, Lee Gamble, OM Unit, Salute, DJ Seinfeld, Dr Dubplate, Dr Jeep, Jamz Supernova, TSVI, Ploy and many more. Their tracks have been featured on multiple Radio One Essential Mixes including Conducta’s and DJ Seinfeld / Salute’s.
