Bio
DVD is a Brisbane-based Australian indie rock band formed by four friends—Magnus, Agnes, Sid, and Aidan. Their sound blends raw punk energy with angular indie rock, drawing influence from Australian post-punk, dolewave, and garage rock. Known for their shared vocal approach and instrument swapping during live shows, DVD creates a dynamic and unpredictable stage presence that reflects their collaborative writing style and DIY ethos. Their music combines driving basslines, jagged guitars, and synth textures with lyrics that often explore emotional communication, youth culture, and everyday life. Emerging from Brisbane’s underground scene, DVD has quickly gained attention through energetic live performances and early releases like *All Worthwhile*, which showcases their upbeat yet emotionally reflective take on indie rock.
