ECLIPSE is a Swedish hard rock band formed in Stockholm in 1999, known for their melodic, high-energy style that blends classic rock and modern hard rock influences. Fronted by vocalist and songwriter Erik Mårtensson, the band has built a strong international following in the melodic rock and AOR (album-oriented rock) scenes. Their sound is often described as polished yet powerful, combining catchy hooks, big choruses, and guitar-driven arrangements. Across their career, Eclipse have released a long run of studio albums including Bleed & Scream, Armageddonize, Paradigm, and Megalomanium, consistently evolving while staying rooted in melodic hard rock. They are widely regarded as one of the leading modern bands in the Scandinavian hard rock revival, with a reputation for strong live performances and arena-ready songwriting.
