Electric Eel Shock formed in Tokyo in the mid-1990s and built their reputation through relentless touring, both in Japan and internationally. They became especially known in Europe and the UK underground rock circuit for their DIY touring style and explosive live performances. They’ve often operated outside the traditional major-label system, instead relying on grassroots fan support and constant live shows to grow their audience.
