Bio
Eloff is a fast-rising South African Afrikaans pop artist and singer-songwriter known for his energetic “post-sokkie” sound, tongue-in-cheek lyrics, and viral youth appeal. He first broke through with the platinum-selling single “Johnnie Blou”, followed by hits like “Witblits,” “Geheueverlies,” and “Koue Kole.” Originally from Pretoria and later associated with Potchefstroom’s student music scene, Eloff became popular for blending modern pop production, club-ready beats, and Afrikaans cultural references into a fresh, high-energy style aimed at younger audiences. His music combines elements of sokkie, pop, rock, and party-driven Afrikaans dance music, helping him become one of the standout names in the new generation of Afrikaans artists. In 2022, he was selected as an Apple Music South Africa “Up Next” artist following the release of his EP Hittegolf.
