Bio
ELYK are a six-piece band based in Naarm (Melbourne), Victoria, Australia. Their sound blends alternative rock and hip-hop, combining rock instrumentation with hip-hop influences and expressive songwriting. The band debuted with the single “Whatever Happens Tomorrow,” released in October 2025. The track explores the emotional push and pull of a person navigating a toxic relationship, showcasing the group's blend of musical styles and candid lyrical storytelling. Originally developed from ELYK's solo material, the band's live performances reimagine the songs with added depth and energy. The group has performed at Melbourne venues including Stay Gold and The Bergy Bandroom, continuing to build its presence in the local music scene. Drawing comparisons to artists such as Dominic Fike, Mac Miller, and Matt Champion, ELYK bring together rock and hip-hop influences to create a contemporary, genre-blending sound.
