Eric Gales is an American blues-rock guitarist, singer, and songwriter celebrated for his virtuosic playing and expressive, Hendrix-inspired style. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, Gales was a child prodigy who began recording in his teens, releasing his debut album The Eric Gales Band in 1991. Over the years, he’s developed a distinctive fusion of electric blues, rock, funk, and soul—earning critical acclaim for his technical mastery and emotional depth. Gales has released numerous albums, including Middle of the Road (2017), The Bookends (2019), and Crown (2022), which was co-produced by Joe Bonamassa and received a Grammy nomination for Best Contemporary Blues Album.
