Bio
Escape the Fate is an American post-hardcore and metalcore band formed in Las Vegas, Nevada in 2004. Known for blending aggressive riffs, emotional lyricism, melodic hooks, and theatrical hard rock energy, the band became one of the defining acts of the late-2000s emo and post-hardcore scene. Their debut album *Dying Is Your Latest Fashion* introduced a heavier screamo-driven sound, while later releases like *This War Is Ours*, *Ungrateful*, and *Chemical Warfare* expanded into melodic metalcore, hard rock, and arena-ready songwriting. Across lineup changes and stylistic shifts, the band has maintained a reputation for high-energy live shows and emotionally charged music balancing heaviness with catchy choruses. Current members include Craig Mabbitt, Robert Ortiz, Matti Hoffman, and Erik Jensen. Former vocalist Ronnie Radke also played a major role in the band’s early rise before departing in 2008.
