Bio
EXILES are a five-piece indie rock band from Melbourne, Australia, known for their high-energy blend of punk-influenced rock and gritty indie sounds. They emerged through the Australian independent scene and gained attention via Triple J Unearthed, where their tracks showcase a raw, guitar-driven style with strong live-performance energy. Their music is often compared to bands like Viagra Boys, The Hives, The Strokes, and Fontaines D.C., combining sharp indie rock riffs with punk attitude and garage rock intensity. EXILES’ releases include tracks such as “STATIC,” “I’ll Try,” and “Wasting Away,” which highlight their fast-paced, distorted sound and youthful, aggressive edge. They are part of Melbourne’s active underground rock scene, regularly associated with energetic club and live music environments.
