Bio
Facets (real name Boris K) is a New York‑based DJ, producer, and curator celebrated for his expansive and genre‑defying approach to electronic music. At home in both underground clubs and international lineups, he draws on a wide palette of styles — from leftfield electronic and electro to new beat, EBM, acid, italo‑disco and Balearic sounds, crafting sets that move between dark synth textures and energetic dancefloor drives. Over the years Facets has released edits and original music on respected underground labels such as Optimo Music, Dischi Autunno, Ombra International, Skylax and Calypso, and his work has been featured in radio and club contexts worldwide. He is also the founder of Samo Records and the Samo Nights club series — a platform for moody, forward‑thinking electronic music — and a member of Italomatic, a Brooklyn‑based collective dedicated to italo‑disco, synth and new wave party culture alongside Andi (Synthicide) and Rok One. Facets regularly plays internationally, sharing stages with artists like Ivan Smagghe, John Talabot, Ellen Allien, Moritz von Oswald and more, making him a known name in forward‑leaning dance music circles.
