Five are a British boy band formed in London in 1997 by the same management team behind the Spice Girls. The group originally consisted of Sean Conlon, Ritchie Neville, Scott Robinson, Abz Love, and Jason “J” Brown. They became one of the most successful UK pop acts of the late 1990s and early 2000s, known for blending pop, dance-pop, and rap-rock influences with high-energy choreography and a slightly edgier image compared to other boy bands of the era. The group sold over 20 million records worldwide and achieved multiple UK number-one hits. Their biggest songs include “Keep On Movin’,” “When the Lights Go Out,” “Everybody Get Up,” and “We Will Rock You.” Their debut album Five (1998) and follow-up Invincible (1999) both achieved major international success. After splitting in 2001 due to internal pressures, they reunited several times in later years and continued to perform as a legacy act, maintaining a strong nostalgic fanbase.
