Bio
Flowers in Antarctica is an Australian alternative rock duo formed by Hugo Miller and Anneliese Hendricks, both 19-year-old songwriters who met at university in 2025. They are based in Australia and write, record, and produce all their music independently in a home studio setup. The project began after the pair started collaborating at university, evolving into a fully independent creative duo focused on emotionally driven, self-produced indie and alternative rock music. They are currently building momentum with releases tied to their upcoming EP “Sinner”, which showcases their DIY production style and narrative-driven songwriting. The duo has also developed a small but dedicated fanbase, which they refer to as “Snowflowers”, and they engage listeners through mailing lists, Discord, and social channels to build a community around the project.
