Flukes of Sendington are a vibrant, high-energy rock band from Bundjalung land / Byron Bay, New South Wales, Australia. Formed in 2024, they quickly became known for their visceral live performances and a sound that fuses garage rock, funk, psychedelic and indie influences into a modern, expansive rock experience. In 2025 they released their debut album, Flukes of Sendington I, featuring a blend of energetic and atmospheric tracks that showcase their musical range and creative ambition. Since then, they’ve toured internationally including stops in Europe and performances at festivals like Bearstone, Vierdaagsefeesten (Nijmegen), Vogelpop and Munich Summer Sessions attracting audiences with their memorable stage presence and dynamic sound. The band is rooted deeply in the DIY ethos of the Australian independent music scene, creating and performing music that draws comparisons to contemporary psych-rock and indie acts while maintaining their own unique identity.
