Bio
Friends With The Enemy are a Gold Coast-based melodic punk band that have been a fixture of the local punk scene for years. Known for their fast-paced riffs, anthemic choruses, and high-energy live performances, the band blends classic skate punk urgency with hardcore intensity and melodic sensibilities. After returning with new material in 2023, they continued to push their sound into heavier territory while maintaining the catchy, adrenaline-fueled style that defines their music. Since forming in 2009, the band has built a strong reputation through relentless touring, festival appearances, and sharing stages with notable punk acts both in Australia and overseas. Their music draws inspiration from bands such as Pennywise, Strung Out, and No Use For A Name, combining technical musicianship with the spirit of classic melodic punk rock.
