Bio
Vinyl & acetate DJ, playing underground music with a focus on contemporary technical mixing and turntablism. "What is a DJ? A miserable little pile of records,? Well not this DJ, instead we have a behemoth of hidden gems, dubplates and cult classics, all stretched across acetate, mixed perfectly, blended frenetically, the king of the curveball, FURIOUS STYLES is that DJ. Born in E4 before being whisked away and forged in the deep Essex territory RM18, now living the good life in Brighton, where he’s building a beachhead for its oft overlooked scene. Champion of the best; from his platforming of undiscovered producers and DJs with his Rinse residency, his Curveballs shows with Balamii that gives MCs a real test, and his global spanning label Hi-NRG, putting out releases from Diessa, ILLUMINATION BOYZ & more. He does so much for you and asks for nothing in return… okay well he wants you to check out his stuff but isn’t that what we all want really? FURIOUS STYLES, expect no substitutes."
