Bio
Gigi Perez is an American singer-songwriter born Gianna Brielle Perez in New Jersey and raised in Florida. She first gained attention online in 2021 when her songs “Celene” and “Sometimes (Backwood)” went viral, leading to a recording deal and the release of her 2023 EP How to Catch a Falling Knife. Her emotionally driven songwriting blends folk-leaning instrumentation with alternative and pop influences, and her breakout single “Sailor Song” became an international hit, charting on the Billboard Hot 100 and topping charts in multiple countries. Perez has toured with artists such as Coldplay, Noah Cyrus and Hozier, and continues to build a global audience through introspective releases exploring grief, identity and relationships.
