Glaive (real name Ash Blue Gutierrez, born January 20, 2005 in Florida, USA) is an American singer‑songwriter, producer, and musician who rose to prominence as a leading voice in the hyperpop and digicore movement during the early 2020s. He began releasing music on SoundCloud at the start of the COVID‑19 pandemic, quickly gaining a cult following with emotionally raw tracks and bedroom‑produced songs that blended pop, emo, trap, and electronic elements. His breakthrough came with the debut EP Cypress Grove (2020), followed by other acclaimed projects like All Dogs Go to Heaven and Then I’ll Be Happy, which helped define his genre‑blurring sound and establish him as a standout young artist. Glaive signed with Interscope Records, released his first full‑length album I Care So Much That I Don’t Care at All in 2023, and continued to evolve his music with subsequent releases like May It Never Falter (2024) and Y’all (2025). Known for candid lyrics about youth, relationships, and mental health, Glaive has toured internationally, appeared on major playlists, and collaborated with artists including Ericdoa and The Kid Laroi. Though not Australian, his work and tours have resonated with audiences worldwide.
