**Diamanté Anthony Blackmon** (born January 3, 1991), known professionally as **Gordo** (stylized in [all caps](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/All_caps "All caps")) and formerly known as **Carnage** (or **DJ Carnage**), is an American record producer. He first gained recognition for his [DJ mixes](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/DJ_mix "DJ mix") and live performances at music festivals such as [Tomorrowland](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tomorrowland_\(festival\) "Tomorrowland (festival)") and [Ultra Music Festival](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_Music_Festival "Ultra Music Festival"). He then began producing [EDM](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Electronic_dance_music "Electronic dance music") singles in 2012 under the moniker Carnage, and signed with [Ultra Records](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ultra_Records "Ultra Records") to release his 2014 single "Bricks" (with [Migos](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Migos "Migos")), which was followed by "Incredible" (with [Borgore](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borgore "Borgore")), and "Toca" (with [Timmy Trumpet](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timmy_Trumpet "Timmy Trumpet") and [KSHMR](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/KSHMR "KSHMR")) both in the following year. His debut studio album, [*Papi Gordo*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Papi_Gordo "Papi Gordo") (2015) peaked atop the [Dance/Electronic Albums](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dance/Electronic_Albums "Dance/Electronic Albums") chart and narrowly entered the [*Billboard* 200](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Billboard_200 "Billboard 200"). Its preceding single, "I Like Tuh" (with [ILoveMakonnen](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ILoveMakonnen "ILoveMakonnen")) received [gold](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/RIAA_certification "RIAA certification") certification by the [Recording Industry Association of America](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Recording_Industry_Association_of_America "Recording Industry Association of America") (RIAA). His second album, [*Battered Bruised & Bloody*](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battered_Bruised_%26_Bloody "Battered Bruised & Bloody") (2018) further delved into hip hop and was critically panned.[\[6\]](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gordo_\(DJ\)#cite_note-6) He occasionally performed as a recording artist; however, he has since retired from doing so, along with the Carnage stage name in favor of **Gordo** in 2022, after which he began working solely in production for other artists.
