Bio
Hannah Kate is a Naarm/Melbourne-based indie project led by singer-songwriter Hannah Wales, performing live with Samuel Drew-Rumoro (guitar), Eddie Knight (bass) and Alice Shannon (drums). Together, they deliver warm, guitar-driven indie rock shaped by jangly riffs, heartfelt lyricism and an undercurrent of 90s nostalgia. Their sound balances intimacy and energy — moving from soft, reflective moments to bright, full-band crescendos. On stage, Hannah Kate offers performances that feel open, honest and quietly affecting, where emotional songwriting meets loose, lived-in rock arrangements.
