Bio
THE SMYTHS are a British tribute band formed in 2003 dedicated to faithfully recreating the live sound and spirit of The Smiths, one of the most iconic UK indie rock bands of the 1980s. Over more than 20 years, they’ve performed 900+ shows across the UK, Europe, Australia and New Zealand and at major festivals such as Glastonbury and Isle of Wight, focusing on delivering the experience of a Smiths concert for fans old and new. The act has received praise from members of The Smiths’ circle, including producer Stephen Street, and continues to tour worldwide with setlists celebrating the classic catalogue.
