Bio
HELLERUIN is a Dutch black metal band formed by founder Carchost. Originally conceived as a solo project, it emerged through a series of early recordings before expanding into a full live band in 2022. Since then, HELLERUIN has built a reputation across the European extreme metal scene, touring with respected acts such as Taake and Kampfar while delivering an intense blend of atmospheric darkness, relentless aggression, and traditional black metal ferocity. The band's music is rooted in raw, uncompromising black metal, with releases including the debut album War Upon Man and the more recent Reapers of the Whirl, showcasing their evolution while remaining faithful to the genre's bleak and powerful aesthetic. In September 2026, HELLERUIN made its Australian debut through a limited tour presented by Plague Wielder Productions, performing in Melbourne and Sydney alongside local extreme metal acts.
