Bio
Hiatus Kaiyote is an Australian neo-soul and experimental music band formed in Melbourne in 2011. They are internationally known for their highly unique sound that blends soul, jazz, funk, electronic textures, and progressive songwriting. Fronted by vocalist and guitarist Nai Palm, the band gained attention after their debut album *Tawk Tomahawk* (2012), which led to a Grammy nomination and support from major artists like Erykah Badu and Prince. Their music is often described as futuristic soul due to its complex rhythms, rich harmonies, and genre-blending style. They are one of the key acts in the global neo-soul movement and have influenced many modern R\&B and experimental artists.
