Bio
Human Noise are a Melbourne-based alternative rock / indie post-punk band known for their sharp, angular songwriting and socially reflective lyrics. Their music blends post-punk, indie rock, and punk energy, creating a sound that is both tense and melodic, often balancing irony, angst, and introspection. The band has built a reputation for writing music that is agitated, introspective, and wry, with lyrics that examine both personal identity and broader social commentary. Their sound draws comparisons to acts like Radiohead, Talking Heads, The Strokes, and Lou Reed, reflecting a mix of art-rock sensibility and indie urgency. Tracks such as *“Weight on the Ground”* and *“Magnolia”* showcase their blend of tight rhythmic structures, sharp guitar work, and atmospheric tension, earning them support on Triple J and Unearthed.
