Bio
i-dle (아이들), formerly known as (G)I-DLE, is a South Korean girl group formed by Cube Entertainment. The group debuted on May 2, 2018 with the mini album I Am and is currently composed of five members: Soyeon, Miyeon, Minnie, Yuqi, and Shuhua. Originally known as (G)I-DLE, the group officially rebranded to i-dle in 2025, removing the “G” and parentheses to represent a broader identity beyond gendered labeling. The group is known for strong artistic involvement, with leader Soyeon playing a major role in writing, producing, and shaping their musical direction. Their style spans multiple genres including pop, hip hop, R\&B, and EDM, often shifting between bold concepts, emotional storytelling, and experimental production. i-dle has built a global following under the fandom name Neverland, and is recognised for its distinctive concepts, self-produced music, and genre-versatile discography.
