Bristol-based DJ and Accidental Meetings resident. From visceral impact to subliminal frequencies, i-sha’s approach to DJing finds a common language across the spectrum of experimental soundsystem music. Grounded in the dubwise principles of negative space, physical pressure and adventurous sonics, her unique palette of outsider selections draws on abrasive noise and thunderous rhythms as much as delicate mantras and plaintive phrases. As a core part of the Accidental Meetings collective, i-sha’s connected to a risk-embracing, international DIY scene driven by sincere passion and curiosity for sounds unheard—a scattered array of club nights, festivals, art events, labels, radio stations and more where ideas are incubated and embraced with open-hearted enthusiasm.
