Bio
Immortal Disfigurement is an American deathcore band formed in 2022 by vocalist C.J. McCreery, formerly of Lorna Shore and Signs of the Swarm. The project quickly gained attention within the modern deathcore scene due to its lineup of experienced extreme-metal musicians and its focus on extremely technical, symphonic, and brutal deathcore. The band’s music blends orchestral arrangements, cinematic atmospheres, and aggressive breakdown-heavy deathcore, drawing comparisons to modern symphonic deathcore acts. Their debut singles generated significant interest online, and the band continued to develop its sound leading up to the release of their debut album King. Immortal Disfigurement is known for extreme vocal techniques, dark themes, and highly produced orchestral elements, placing them within the wave of contemporary symphonic and blackened deathcore bands.
