Bio
INDTIKO (I'M NOT DEAD THAT I KNOW OF) is a Melbourne-based post-punk band that draws inspiration from influential acts such as Pil, Wire, Pavement, Joy Division, Roxy Music, Minutemen, and Fugazi. Their sound combines pulsating rhythms, expansive guitar textures, carnival-like synths, and occasionally discordant melodies, all led by the intense presence of vocalist and lyricist Jake Moose. Blending raw energy with poetic, socially observant songwriting, INDTIKO explores themes of modern alienation, relationships, mental claustrophobia, and societal disillusionment through a distinctive fusion of post-punk, punk, and alternative rock influences.
