Bio
Isua is a Melbourne-based Australian heavy music band formed in 2018, known for their intense blend of sludge and doom metal. The group emerged from the local underground scene featuring members connected to acts such as DAWN, Giant, and Defamer, and quickly gained attention through live shows and their debut releases. Their sound is characterized by crushing riffs, bleak atmospheres, and emotionally charged vocals, exploring themes of struggle, chaos, and despair. They released their debut EP I in 2021, followed by the album Abandon (2023), and have continued developing a dense, abrasive sonic style through later releases like the 2025 EP II.
