Ive Lovers, born in Amsterdam, brand owner, former rugby player, loves gangster tracks, 4th delays & stabs all over the place, blending ukg with a teaspoon of Dutch influence. Born and raised in the small city of Weesp, Ive Lovers’ connection to house music runs deeper than most. Thanks to his parents’ love for Ibiza’s iconic scene, he’s been surrounded by the soul of house music since he was a kid. As a result of his early musical experiences, Ive felt compelled to begin a new movement, starting the house music community Oldschooldeephouse at the age of just 14. This old-school meets modern-day community became more than just an online space, bringing together house music lovers from across the globe through their events and signature sound. Now forging his own path as a DJ/Producer, Ive’s sets and productions have become an unmistakable force in the underground scene. His drive and consistency have seen him turn his idols into some of his most avid supporters, earning releases on Low Steppa’s Simma Black and, most recently, Seb Zito’s Seven Dials Records. After taking himself and Oldschooldeephouse overseas to venues such as 93 Feet East and Club BSMNT in Tunisia, as well as performing regularly in the Netherlands at popular venues such as Shelter and Lofi, watching Ive Lovers live is becoming an in-demand experience, with many big moments created on dance floors through his eclectic taste in house music. The use of catchy hooks, 4th delays, and performance-focused musical elements set him apart from the crowd—the Oldschooldeephouse way. Looking forward, there is plenty more to come from this exciting young artist in 2025, with several other statement releases yet to be announced. With more and more industry peers getting behind Ive’s innovative take on Underground House & Garage, such as Todd Edwards, Ozzie Guven, and Silva Bumpa, it’s clear to see that the only direction is up.
