Bio
Jake Banfield is an American country singer‑songwriter based in Nashville, Tennessee known for blending country storytelling with modern pop and genre‑bending production. His breakout single Lasso hit #1 on Australian country radio and helped build his rapidly growing global audience. Banfield learned guitar after a college sports injury redirected his path from basketball to music, teaching himself to play and write songs that mix heartfelt lyricism with catchy melodies. He released his debut album Open Bars in 2025, showcasing a fusion of country, pop, and contemporary influences and amassing millions of streams. Banfield’s rise from a small‑town Oklahoma kid to an international touring artist reflects his authentic connection with fans and dynamic live performances.
