Jamey Foxton is an Australian singer-songwriter from Sydney, New South Wales, whose music is deeply inspired by the golden era of American roots music. A former film director and skateboarder, he launched his music career after recording his debut single, "You Rang My Bell," at the legendary Sun Studio in Memphis, where artists such as Elvis Presley and Johnny Cash recorded some of their earliest work. Known for his warm vintage vocals and strong storytelling, Foxton has built a reputation for crafting timeless songs influenced by rock 'n' roll, country, blues, and gospel traditions. Since his debut in 2021, Foxton has released a string of singles and EPs, including *Locomotive Blues*, *Confessions of a Love in Twilight*, and *Tears in Paradise*. More recently, he and vocalist Lucy Sugerman gained widespread attention through The Gospel Project, whose acoustic performances of traditional gospel songs attracted millions of online views and led to sold-out live shows. Foxton continues to tour throughout Australia while preserving and reimagining classic American roots music for modern audiences.
