Bio
JARR is an emerging alternative rock band from the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia. Formed in 2024, the group quickly built momentum through local house gigs while developing their own original sound. The band consists of Harrison Howe, Jhaz Lewis, Hunter Casey, and Kade Lowe. Their music blends elements of modern grunge, alternative rock, and shoegaze, creating an angsty, high-energy style marked by heavy breakdowns and dynamic shifts in mood. Drawing inspiration from acts like Deftones, Alice in Chains, and Silverchair, JARR deliver a raw yet versatile sound that balances melodic textures with aggressive intensity. With early releases such as “WAKE UP” and “U US I,” they are steadily gaining attention in Australia’s underground scene and continuing to build their catalogue of new material. Known for their energetic performances and evolving style, JARR represent a new wave of Australian alternative music, combining nostalgic grunge influences with a modern edge.
