Bio
JAZZPARTY is an electrifying eight‑piece collective from Melbourne, Australia, celebrated for their high‑energy fusion of jazz‑inflected soul, New Orleans‑style R&B, punk attitude and dance‑ready revelry. The group brings a wild, party‑centric spirit to each performance — blending horns, groove, improvisation and expressive vocals into a sound that feels like a street parade collided with a cult dance night. Led by powerhouse vocalist Loretta Miller and multi‑instrumentalist Darcy McNulty (former members of Clairy Browne & The Bangin’ Rackettes), JAZZPARTY built their reputation through residencies and late‑night shows across Melbourne before taking their dynamic live show to major festivals like Golden Plains, Melbourne International Jazz Festival, WOMAD and Dark Mofo. Their music is rooted in jazz, soul, R&B, calypso and rock‑n‑roll influences, delivered with infectious energy that encourages dancing, shouting and full‑on audience engagement. The band has released recordings including their album Nobody Gets Away and a string of spirited singles.
