Jermango Dreaming is the musical project of Sydney-based artist Jermaine Sakr, known for crafting warm, nostalgic psychedelic indie pop blended with funk grooves, dreamy synths, and lo-fi textures. Emerging from Australia’s indie scene, he began releasing music that captured an emotional yet laid-back style inspired by 70s soul, 80s synth pop, surf psych and downtempo electronica. Built around hypnotic guitar lines, groovy bass and smooth vocals, his sound explores themes of memory, love, escapism and self-reflection. Tracks like “Breeze,” “La-Dee-Da,” “My Love,” and “Project 62” earned him growing attention from triple j Unearthed, Rolling Stone Australia, and streaming playlists around the world. On stage, he performs with a live band and is associated with the creative collective Yeah Nah Yeah. Still rising, Jermango Dreaming has become known for his soulful mood and nostalgic storytelling—music that feels cinematic, intimate and timeless.
