Bio
Jesse Calosso is a Bronx-born DJ and producer part of a tight circle of New York area artists, including The Martinez Brothers and Filsonik, with a longtime friendship and collaborative history. Born and raised in New York, Jesse Calosso forged his foundation in the city’s uncompromising underground before expanding his reach globally. Now dividing his time between Miami and Europe, he has become a proven force on international dance floors, a DJ trusted to command peak-time without chasing trends. His sets move with intention. Sudden shifts in tempo, pressure building and dissolving, rare selections colliding with timeless records, always groove-led, never predictable. Calosso avoids the obvious, instead introducing dancers to records they didn’t know they loved, turning rooms through instinct rather than hype. His global footprint spans Sunwaves, Coachella, Sonus, UNUM and Toffler Festival. Ibiza remains a defining territory: from Hï Ibiza with The Martinez Brothers and Music On at Pacha to Paradise at UNVRS, alongside earlier appearances at Circoloco DC-10. He has had back to back sessions with The Martinez Brothers, Jean Pierre, Jamie Jones and Mason Collective, while supporting Marco Carola and Seth Troxler across major stages worldwide. With countless releases across Cuttin’ Headz, Hot Creations, Hottrax, V-House Sound, Tuskegee and beyond, his catalog reflects both versatility and conviction. From breakthrough collaboration “Do You Miss Brooklyn?” to defining cuts such as “This Is 140,” “Not Valid,” and “Small Talk.” Beyond the booth, Calosso is the founder of Boogeyman, a cult imprint entering its fifth year and steadily evolving into a wider creative platform, extending from records to curated events and a distinct lifestyle identity. As both artist and architect, he continues to shape his own lane within contemporary house music. Measured, intentional, and built for longevity.
