Bio
Jiminy’s Crickets is a Melbourne-based indie rock band formed by four school friends, delivering a sharp blend of indie rock, punk energy, and garage-influenced grit. Their sound is built around punchy guitar riffs, driving rhythms, and catchy yet chaotic songwriting that reflects a classic Australian pub-rock attitude with a modern edge. The band combines indie riff-driven songwriting, garage rock texture, and punk-leaning energy, supported by sharp lyricism and a DIY spirit. Their music balances melodic hooks with raw live-band intensity, drawing comparisons to Australian and international guitar-driven acts. Jiminy’s Crickets are part of the emerging Melbourne underground scene, gaining attention through releases that highlight both their energetic sound and their straightforward, no-frills approach to rock music.
