Bio
DJ Josh Heywood is a Melbourne‑based Australian DJ, producer, and electronic artist who has quickly built a strong reputation in the local and national techno scene. He regularly performs at key venues around Melbourne such as Revolver Upstairs, Glamorama, Turbo 422, New Guernica, and Sub Club Melbourne, and has appeared at Beyond The Valley Festival, Esoteric Festival, and events in Tasmania with SPICYMUSIC. His sets are known for high‑energy techno grooves, hypnotic rhythms, driving percussion, and immersive soundscapes, often mixing across multiple channels to create evolving journeys for the dancefloor. In addition to DJing, Heywood releases original music — including tracks like Echo — that reflect his refined approach to sound and space in techno and electronic music. He continues to rise on the Australian techno circuit as both a club favorite and festival performer, drawing from old‑school and modern techno influences.
