K Mak is the solo project of Brisbane-based cellist and singer-songwriter Kathryn McKee, blending classical cello with electro-pop, art-pop, and alternative pop. Her music combines lush string arrangements, electronic beats, and emotive vocals to create cinematic, introspective songs. Her self-titled debut album explores themes of love, loss, and personal transformation. K Mak has performed widely across Australia and is recognized for her innovative fusion of classical instrumentation with contemporary pop sounds.
