KARD is a South Korean co-ed pop group formed by DSP Media, consisting of members J.Seph, BM, Somin, and Jiwoo. Officially debuting in 2017 with the EP Hola Hola, the group gained international attention for their distinctive sound that fuses K-pop with tropical house, hip hop, and EDM influences. Before their official debut, KARD released a successful pre-debut project with singles “Oh Nana,” “Don’t Recall,” and “Rumor,” which topped international charts and built a strong overseas fanbase. Their co-ed dynamic — rare in K-pop — became a key part of their identity, showcasing equal focus on both male and female members and emphasizing synergy, choreography, and chemistry. Following their debut, KARD continued to expand globally with tours across North and South America, Europe, and Asia. Albums like Red Moon (2020), Re: (2022), and Icky (2023) reflect their evolution into a bold, mature sound blending Latin rhythms, bass-driven beats, and confident lyricism. Renowned for their high-energy performances, fashion-forward visuals, and genre-blending artistry, KARD has established themselves as one of the most successful co-ed groups in modern K-pop — bridging global pop culture and dance music with authenticity and style.
