Bio
Katelyn Tarver is an American singer‑songwriter and actress originally from Glennville, Georgia, USA. She began her career as a teenager competing on the reality singing show *American Juniors* in 2003, then released her debut album *Wonderful Crazy* in 2005. After moving into acting, she gained widespread recognition for her role as Jo Taylor on the Nickelodeon series *Big Time Rush*. Alongside her TV work, Tarver built a steady music career with independent releases and songwriting work. As a musician, she has released several EPs and albums, including *A Little More Free* (2011), *Tired Eyes* (2017), *Kool Aid* (2018) and *Subject to Change* (2021), plus more recent material like *Quitter* (2024) and *Tell Me How You Really Feel* (2026). Her viral pop single *“You Don’t Know”* helped broaden her music audience, and she’s also co‑written for other artists — notably *“Crazy Stupid Love”* for British singer Cheryl, which hit #1 on the UK Singles Chart. Tarver continues to balance her music and acting careers — including reuniting with her *Big Time Rush* castmates on their 2026 tour — maintaining a reputation for emotive vocals, honest songwriting, and evolving pop sound.
