Keb Darge is a Scottish DJ and record collector, born in 1957, whose career spans from the northern-soul dance floors of the 1970s to global crate-digging and DJ sets. He is widely recognised for coining and cultivating the sub-genre known as “deep funk”—rare, 45‐rpm funk records from the 1960s and 70s that had largely flown under the radar. Beyond funk, his interests and sets have encompassed northern soul, rockabilly, surf instrumentals, garage punk and more.
