Kesha (born Kesha Rose Sebert) is an American singer-songwriter known for her chart-topping pop and dance hits such as “TiK ToK,” “Timber,” and “Praying.” She rose to fame around 2009–2010 with her debut album Animal, which topped charts and established her energetic party-pop image. Over her career she has released multiple studio albums, earned Grammy nominations, and built a reputation as a versatile songwriter blending pop with electronic, hip-hop, rock, and country influences. After a long legal battle with her former producer and label, she became independent in 2023 and continues releasing music under her own label.
