Bio
Knuckledust are a British hardcore punk band from London, formed in 1996, and widely regarded as one of the most important names in the UK hardcore scene. They emerged from London’s late-90s underground hardcore movement and quickly became known for their relentless live shows, DIY ethic, and heavy NYHC (New York Hardcore)-influenced sound. Over the years, Knuckledust have maintained a strong presence in the European hardcore circuit, consistently touring and releasing music while staying rooted in the underground. Their music is built around fast, aggressive riffs, gang vocals, and breakdown-heavy structures, with lyrics often focused on unity, resistance, loyalty, and working-class life. They’ve been a key link between UK hardcore and American-style hardcore traditions, while maintaining a distinctly London identity.
