Bio
Knumears are a three‑piece melodic hardcore / screamo band from Southern California, USA, known for their intense blend of old‑school ’90s screamo energy and modern hardcore aggression. Since forming, vocalist/guitarist Matthew Cole, bassist/vocalist Dante Garcia II, and drummer Frankie Lopez have been building a reputation for raw, cathartic releases and explosive live performances. Their sound mixes emotional depth and chaotic intensity, with atmospheric layers woven through punchy, distortion‑laden guitars and visceral vocals. In 2026 they announced their debut full‑length album Directions — a passionate record that channels heartbreak and intensity into unrelenting melodic hardcore — and marked their first Australian tour alongside Vs Self, showcasing their powerful live presence to audiences down under.
